Fashion Night Out in NYC

On Thursday night, I celebrated Fashion Night Out here in NYC by attending events across the city. I kept it simple by pairing a leather pencil skirt (something I've been on the search for) with an embellished vintage jacket I found here in NYC a few weeks back. Our first stop was -What Goes Around Comes Around- a store which boasts the most amazing vintage pieces. As part of the Fashion Night Out celebrations, Whitney Port presented a collection of customized shirts. As part of my internship with Whitney, I delivered the shirts to the store earlier that day, so I was very excited to see how they looked. Here's a few snaps from the event...

How unbelievably beautiful is she?!

As you can imagine, it was VERY cool to be able to hang out in the same store as Whitney Port & she genuinely is such a beautiful person! I'm really looking forward to the coming week assisting her with preparations for her NYFW show.

After our visit to Soho, the next stop was the Meatpacking District -home to many amazing stores such as DVF & Scoop. All in all, it was an amazing experience to be in New York for the famous Fashion Night Out & I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the stores, the celebs & the street style. Fingers crossed I'll be back in NYC again for next years' events!

As I mentioned, I've started my internship with Whitney Port and her team...& I'm having the MOST AMAZING TIME so far! Above is a little peek at what I wore when I met her for the first time on Thursday morning -you can never go wrong with a statement piece of jewellery, hey? It's been a very busy first few days & I have a feeling it's about to get even crazier. But right now I genuinely couldn't be happier to be doing what I'm doing!
