A while back, the lovely Ciara from WildChildStories, interviewed me for a feature on Upcycling, Customizing & Crafting, for the March/April issue of "Galway Now" Magazine. She asked me a few questions & then I had my picture taken by the equally lovely, Saibh Egan. I really didn't expect it to be out so soon, so was pleasantly surprised on Saturday when I received a tweet saying I was in the magazine. I'm so delighted to be involved & really happy with how it turned out.
It explains how I feature my little bits of DIY on my blog & how this is a trend which is becoming more & more popular all the time. There are 4 others featured also & it's really interesting to read how they gained an interest in customizing, etc. So if you're in the Galway area, be sure to pick up a copy & let me know what you think :)
I was home in Kerry all weekend & finally got a chance to do some more DIY. Here's a quick little pic of a bit of DIY bling I added to my green leather jacket yesterday....
